Roger Glick joined RPA in March 2018 and serves clients out of the New England Region office. Prior to joining RPA, Roger was the Senior Emergency Management Consultant for the Carilion Clinic in Roanoke, Virginia. Roger has extensive experience in academic level teaching and research; he is an instructor in the Departments of Pediatrics, Emergency Medicine, and Basic Science at the Virginia Tech Carilion School of Medicine. Roger is actively involved in policy development and advocacy, with roles and responsibilities at the regional and national level. He serves as an Executive Committee member of the National Pediatric Disaster Coalition and has previously served as the Chairperson of Virginia’s Hospital Emergency Management Committee (HEMC), which provided guidance, direction, and coordination to Virginia’s six regional healthcare coalitions; and as the Vice Chairperson of Near Southwest Preparedness Alliance (NSPA). Roger holds degrees in Chemistry and Biology from Bridgewater College, a Master’s Degree in Emergency Health Services from the University of Maryland Baltimore, and an MBA from James Madison University. He has earned the distinctions of being an IAEM Certified Emergency Manager and a Fellow in the American College of Healthcare Executives.
