Since 1976, Russell Phillips & Associates has been involved in the investigation of hundreds of healthcare fires, ranging from surgical fires in the Operating Room to fires involving multiple lives lost in senior independent living apartments, assisted living, nursing homes and hospitals.
The goal of this program is to assess the effectiveness of the facility's existing fire plan during emergency conditions and to assure that procedures appropriately address important facility-specific issues. Our belief is that staff and leadership will not respond properly to a fire unless they are trained under realistic conditions. Therefore, we provide staff and leadership with appropriate hands-on training and exercises to reduce the potential for loss of life and injury in a fire emergency.
