Don’t look any further if you are just an “idea” person. We are not a think tank but a firm established to ensure there is a final product, and the product is implemented at our clients’ facility locations (via plan design, training and exercises). Many of our staff are cross-trained to address multiple business lines – Fire Safety, Code Consulting and Emergency Management. All of our consulting positions require substantial travel. Qualifications for employment include a degree in fire protection, fire science, safety, emergency management or a related degree coupled with exceptional interpersonal and written communication skills.
RPA works with our clients to ensure they have clean floor plans focused on supporting the facility in fixing problems, evacuating the building(s) and supporting their training and operations efforts. Our AutoCAD positions are located out of our Fairport, NY office.
We don’t sell widgets and we don’t have a sales force. All of our consultants are involved in being the subject matter experts to ensure our clients remain our clients for the long term based on our expertise – not our “glitz.” If you are interested in an opportunity in Business Development with our firm, it would be best to have field experience in the Fire Service, EMS, Emergency Management, Facilities Management / Engineering or something similar. We ultimately support existing clients and cultivate new relationships.
Our Production / Administration / Client Support team is a core part of the firm’s infrastructure. They ensure our products and services are delivered in a quality and timely manner. Our clients are supported at the highest level and we follow-up to ensure client satisfaction. From completing a Statement of Conditions product review for a multi-hospital system to editing a new product before it goes out the door, the team is committed to ensuring the best possible product and client support is provided in the industry. No wonder we have a 98% client retention rate!
From scheduling site visits for clients with 200 plus locations to figuring out how to best service a client that has no other healthcare facility around them for 60 miles, this team has their finger on the pulse of the organization. They collaborate with our in-house travel service to provide the most cost effective scheduling solutions.
Typically, RPA promotes from within. That is not to say that if the right skill set presents itself to meet a unique need within the firm, we would not be open to exploring a new approach. Qualifications for employment include a degree in fire protection, fire science, safety, emergency management or a related degree coupled with exceptional interpersonal and written communication skills.
We are testing approaches to relieve some pressure on the consulting team for large, complex projects by looking at resources to support the broader picture.
