The CMS regulations were published in September 2016 and all facilities must be in compliance by November 15, 2017. These detailed requirements are applicable to many Medicare and Medicaid participating providers, and in particular to Nursing Homes/Skilled Nursing Facilities. The overarching message from CMS is loud and clear…it is essential that healthcare leadership integrate emergency management into their daily functions and values. This full-day workshop will provide guidance, tools and templates to assist facilities to be compliant with the new CMS Emergency Preparedness Standards. Every participant will leave with “Actions for Compliance” and next steps to guide their compliance.
